Kayode Howard - Co-Founder and President
Kayode Howard dreamt about a way to help others within his local community. That vision came to life when The Giver’s Hand, Inc came to fruition. Leading with a quiet yet self assured confidence, Kayode allows his team to thrive in a collaborative and welcoming environment while bringing the organization’s tagline, of serving the need, to life.
Kate Howard - Co-Founder and Vice-President
Kate Howard knew that when her husband, Kayode came to her with the vision for The Giver’s Hand, it was necessary to make it a reality. Kate has made sure that giving back in one capacity or another is an integral part of her life. The Giver’s Hand enables Kate to share her passion for serving the need, with those around her.
Vera Wethington - Treasurer
Ms. Spadaro-Wethington has held numerous financial roles throughout her career. She has over 25 years of experience. Her volunteer activities have included organizing Americare fundraisers, volunteering at Abilis (special needs outreach for the Greenwich, Ct community), teaching youth at her church and as a Wish Grantor for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Ms. Spadaro-Wethington joined The Giver’s Hand in 2018. In her role as Treasurer, she not only oversees the budgeting and monetary duties of her position but is actively involved in all the Giver’s Hand’s events in our continuing mission of “Serving the Need”.
Marianna Knowles - Secretary
Marianna Knowles joined The Giver's Hand at its inception in 2018 in the position of Secretary. Marianna has previously worked with Make-A-Wish of the Hudson Valley as a volunteer and wish grantor as well as other organizations in her community. She believes very strongly about serving the need of those less fortunate and looks forward to helping accomplish this through The Giver's Hand.
Nayo Howard - Board Member
Nayo Howard has a passion for Christ and shares this with others through praise dance. She is the lead choreographer for her church’s praise dance department. Through the years, she has also been very involved with helping young women through her organization, Daughters of the Most High where she encourages and uplifts girls from her community. Nayo’s love for outreach led her to The Giver’s Hand in 2020 where she has been able to help serve the need.
Halina Menifield - Board Member
Halina Menifield joined The Giver’s Hand as a board member in 2021 and knows her involvement with this organization will fulfill her desire to serve the need.
Alex Payan - Advisor
Alex Payan has been a Port Chester resident since 1984 and has served on numerous community boards and committees and is currently a trustee in the Village of Port Chester. As the advisor of The Giver’s Hand, Alex’s experience and knowledge has been pivotal to the exposure and organic growth of the organization ranging from establishing strategic partnerships to long-term planning while simultaneously serving the need. Alex has over 15 years of marketing research experience and 10 years of non-profit field.
